In some scenes you can sense that they feel uncomfortable when interacting, for example, a bathtub scene. Obsession among the characters they play are also weak, and individually as well they did not make it interesting, Dornan failed to give us the power and control that is owned by Grey, while the Dakota may feel what is experienced by Kristen Stewart in Twilight, the script and the execution is not qualified thus prevent him from shining. Ana was supposed to be an annoying puppy so that it looks tempting, and the film is also supposed to be about how Ana grow, instead of just observing the chaotic conditions in his psychology.
